A two-person partnership crafting software with the care of a studio and the velocity of a startup. We take on a small number of partners each year, and we build a few products of our own.
Soglia Ventures was founded on a simple observation: most software teams are organized to look productive, not to ship work that lasts. We wanted something different — a partnership small enough to stay in the details, but seasoned enough to ship at production weight.
We split our year roughly in half. One half we spend embedded with a handful of partners — operators, founders, and teams who need a senior pair to build with them, not for them. The other half we spend building our own products: ideas we couldn't stop thinking about, ideas we wanted to live with.
Two people. One bar. Everything we ship has both our names on it.

From a 3-week audit to a full revenue-share partnership. Every engagement gets a written scope, fixed timelines, and the same two people doing the work.
We evaluate your existing app, codebase, or stack — then elevate, modernize, or migrate it. You leave with a written plan, a backlog of quick wins, and a clear path forward.
A defined scope, a fixed timeline, two senior partners. We ship the specific thing you need shipped — then get out of the way.
Zero to one. We design, build, and ship a real shippable product — research, design, and engineering as one tight loop. No handoffs, no juniors.
Bring us an idea you can't shake. We evaluate it, then build and ship it together — for equity, royalty, or a revenue share. Skin in the game on both sides.
Two streams of work, one bar. Apps we ship for ourselves, and engagements we ship for partners.
A writing tool for people who think in arguments, not paragraphs.
Lightweight async standups for distributed teams that hate meetings.
A photo-organization app for people who treat images like notes.
A personal CRM that lives in your calendar, not a database.
A reading log that quietly turns into a portrait of your taste.
A personal atlas for places you've been and places you want to go.
Built an end-to-end patient intake flow that cut completion time by 62% and is now the front door for three of Halcyon's specialty practices.
Read case studyA custom CMS, image pipeline, and case-study system. Merit's editors update the site without touching a developer.
Read case studyDesigned and shipped a natural-language layer over Northbound's freight planner. Deployed to 1,400 dispatchers in week 11.
Read case studyA 60-minute call. We learn the problem, the constraints, the people. No deck required.
A short written proposal — what we'd build, what we wouldn't, what it costs, what it doesn't.
Weekly demos, daily commits, a shared channel. You see the work as it happens, not at the end.
We launch with you, and we stay through the first month of real usage. No handoff cliff.
Soglia did in six weeks what our last vendor couldn't do in nine months. The difference is they actually ship.
It felt like hiring two senior employees on Monday and having them in production on Friday. We've never had a smoother engagement.
They told us what to cut. That alone was worth the engagement.
Four shapes of engagement. Every proposal we send fits one of these or says — clearly — that it doesn't.
A focused diagnostic. We pressure-test your product, codebase, and team. You leave with a written plan and a clear path forward.
A full app, designed and shipped from scratch. Senior pair, no juniors, your name on the marquee.
A defined build on a fixed timeline. Scope, cost, and milestones are set in writing before kickoff — no surprises.
Bring us the idea. We bring the build. We share the upside — a long-term partnership where both sides have skin in the game.
All three, in different proportions. Most engagements are fixed-fee or monthly. We occasionally swap a portion of fee for equity when the partnership is right and the cap table makes sense.
Two. Sometimes three for a short period. Anything more and we stop being a studio.
Yes — most of our work is alongside an existing team. We're explicit about how we operate so the seams are obvious from day one.
Default: TypeScript, React/React Native, Postgres, on whatever cloud you're already on. We've shipped Swift, Kotlin, Python, and Go when the project called for it.
Distributed — we run on a shared calendar, not a shared zip code. We travel to client sites for kickoffs and launch weeks.
Yes. We have a short, plain-English mutual NDA you can sign in 90 seconds, or we'll sign yours.
